Flight Velocity FV22 Perspective Panel Installation Instructions

The FV22 comes with four components, the main front facing panel itself, a support bracket for the panel (triangular shape), the perspective add on panel, and a support bracket for it.

Step 1:

Knock out the blanks for the perspective gear on the perspective add on panel (GCU47X, GFC700, GMA530)
Slide 6 8-32x1” bolts (included) through the six mounting holes in the top of the perspective add on panel.
Install the GCU47X, GFC700, and GMA530 components

Step 2:

Attach the perspective add on panel to the main panel. The six bolts mentioned in step one will go through the main panel as well as the supporting bracket. This sandwiches the main panel between the perspective add on panel and its bracket.
Tighten these bolts with a small screw driver or a ratchet wrench

Step 3:

Mount the yoke to the desk, leaving about 1” of space between the front edge of the desk and the back of the yoke clamp. Don’t fully tighten the yoke clamps yet.
Mount our yoke bracket (green dot) to the top of the yoke using the screws you’ll find installed from Honeycomb on the top of the yoke.
Slide the panel over the yoke and mount it to the desk with the brackets and clamps as shown. Make sure that the panel is flush against the front of the desk with no obstructions.
Above the yoke, slide three 8-32x1” bolts (included) through the front of the panel and through the yoke bracket you installed earlier in this step.
Install all avionics components in the main panel.
You can install up to two throttle quadrants on the bottom of the perspective add on panel, of just one in the center.
Tighten all screws and clamps
